For eleven years, we’ve been fortunate enough to support the Institute for Healthcare Improvement’s (IHI) Annual Patient Safety Congress. This multi-day event brings together 1,200 national and international attendees, four renowned keynote speakers, over 200 subject matter experts, 40 sponsors, 75 exhibitors, and 200 poster presenters. The singular goal? Bring together people who are passionate about ensuring safe care for patients equitably across the globe, no matter where it is provided.

The keynote speaker’s flight had to make an emergency landing on route to the event and she arrived at the venue only 10 minutes before her scheduled talk! Without time for rehearsal, we uploaded her presentation, held our breath and got her on stage for what still ended up being a flawless presentation.
